The main theme is reminiscent of other cheerier Western film scores, but from there the soundtrack diverges. Once we are introduced to the insane women in the film, the score takes a much more somber tone, utilizing wind sound effects and chromatic glissandos in the winds and strings that emphasize the isolation of the great plains.. | ” |
